Potting Mad began with a simple idea: to create something fun, useful and able to give back.

It all started when we painted some quirky little pots, added cat grass and donated them to an auction supporting Best Friends Felines. That small project sparked a love of growing our own fresh pet grass - and Potting Mad grew from there.

Today, we’re a small Queensland family business offering thoughtfully made products for pets, gardeners and backyard wildlife. Our range includes fresh Pet Super Greens, established catnip and cat mint plants, homemade pet treats, seeds and DIY growing kits, along with handmade bird feeders and wildlife nest boxes crafted from reclaimed timber.

Everything we grow, make or select is chosen with care. We love helping pets thrive naturally, encouraging people to enjoy growing at home and creating welcoming spaces for Australia’s native birds and animals.

Giving back and supporting animals remains an important part of what Potting Mad is all about.
