A beautiful flowering perennial that both your garden and your cat can enjoy!
Our Premium Faassen's Catmint plants are supplied as healthy, established plants in generous 20cm pots—not tiny seedlings—so they're ready to plant straight into your garden or display in a decorative pot.
Unlike traditional Catnip, Faassen's Catmint is primarily grown for its stunning display of lavender-purple flowers and its hardy, low-maintenance nature. During spring and through the warmer months, it produces masses of vibrant blooms that create a beautiful splash of colour while attracting bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators to your garden.
Many cats also enjoy rubbing against and sniffing the fragrant foliage thanks to its natural nepetalactone content, although the effect is generally gentler than traditional Catnip.
🌸 Beautiful Spring Flowers
One of the biggest reasons gardeners love Faassen's Catmint is its spectacular flowering display.
From spring onwards, the plant becomes covered in soft lavender-purple flower spikes, providing months of colour while attracting bees, butterflies and other important pollinators.
Perfect for:
✔ Cottage gardens
✔ Bee & butterfly gardens
✔ Outdoor cat enclosures
✔ Pots & containers

🌿 Catmint vs Catnip
Although they belong to the same Nepeta family, they each have different strengths.
